"When I think of turkey and design or architecture, then I'm getting nervous; which is a positive sign for me, which means something is happening, and I feel, I want to be there.
Turkey is becoming more and more an interesting spot for Turkish and non-Turkish designers/architects. And more and more Turkish companies are willing to accept inviting designers to help them to bring good products with good quality on the market, both Turkish and international.
Now it will be very important to see if Turkish design will find its way, or just adopt the international style - I hope it will find its own way.
As a Turkish designer, born in turkey but grew up in different countries, and with an Italian business partner, for me it's not always easy to fallow my roots on one hand, but great flexibility on the other hand."
